  3. goodnoows loads on IE 9. However, when I use google chrome, the newstand doesn't load, and I am unable to get past this issue

    Hi Steven,
    I can’t reproduce this. Sometimes this happens when some news content from a feed in your stream is not properly escaped. Can I ask you a few questions?
    - Do you use Good Noows and does this normally work for you in Chrome?
    - When did it stop working? (I assume it is still not working?)
    - Is this about the web app or the Facebook app?

  4. Hello, I'm trying for some days now to reach my account at GoodNoows, and would like to make some changes to the "Kiosk"-thingy.
    The screen blurrs out and that is it, I watched the loading icon long enough now. Is there some overload, some wrecked server ? Did I miss some update ?

    Thanks for reaching out. I just tested and everything works normal for me. No known server issues.

    A few days ago we had a brief database performance issue which made the site unresponsive for a while. Maybe you experienced that and your browser downloaded a partial file or your cookies are corrupted.

    Did you already try to clear your cache (http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache )?

    If that doesn’t work, could you try removing your cookies (http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cookies )?

    If none of this works I’m happy to look into the issue. But I would need the following information:
    - In which language do you use Good News?
    - Which browser do you use (include version, if possible)?
    - Which operating system?
    - And if you let me know your registered email address I can look up your account in the database, make sure everything is good.

  6. This is an awesome service and I'd pay to make sure it never went away.

    Of course I want skins and even custom headline generation. 5 columns of excerpt text. My choice.

    But it's great, I love it, I've been looking for Goodnoows for a long time. Thank you!

    The number of happy and loyal users is growing and growing and our infrastructure costs are increasing as well – without any revenue. We have yet to figure out if and how we want to make Good Noows a freemium product.

  7. Sen out a daily e-mail, like when users subscribe to a regular news stream they get an e-mail sent out everyday .

  8. Think about the contents of your welcome e-mail. It ended up in my junk E-mail folder. I use Windows Mail in standard configuration. Really nice app you have made :-)

  9. Please remove the hover effects or allow me to turn them off.

    I find them very distracting, especially on the iPad.

    They shouldn’t be there on mobile. This is a bug. We are looking into it.

    Update: Chris, sorry but I can’t reproduce this. What do you mean by hover effects? At first I thought you are referring to the tooltips but I just successfully confirmed that they don’t appear on my iPad. Just on non-touch devices.
